Shiv has earned the call-up off the back of some outstanding performances for our 1st XI, as well as some excellent displays for Northamptonshire's 2nd XI. Shiv started with the club in our minis section before progressing all the way through to our 1st team, so we are immensely proud of everything he has achieved so far.

Everyone at the club is delighted to see Shiv rewarded for his hard work and dedication, and we look forward to following his progress on the county stage.

Shiv will be lining up alongside some big names, including Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. While we're sure Shiv will learn plenty from sharing a dressing room with a player of Chahal's calibre, we're also hoping Yuzvendra might be able to learn a thing or two from Shiv along the way!
