Behind the scenes, we have been doing a great deal of preparation for the 2026 season developing a new club strategy and creating a new committee structure. Over the next few days, we will announce a series of appointments to our new management committee.

Firstly, we are delighted to announce a Richard Ingman as our new director of senior cricket.

Commenting upon the appointment, Chair Tom Webb said “We’re delighted to have Richard in this new and exciting role. After 34 years at the club he’s got our club values in his blood. Having played and coached at the club across four decades he knows the teams, league but most importantly the players inside and out.

Having someone of Richard’s experience and knowledge will undoubtedly help drive the 1st XI forward but also provide oversight and continuity to all teams as we look to provide high quality cricket across the club and drive the us forward.

Richard is a key part in a new club restructuring which will see us build upon strong foundations and strive to take us to the next level.”
